Founder story
Chris Tweedie has over 22 years of professional experience building geospatial software solutions for government, mining, defence and other commercial organisations worldwide.
After 17 years at Hexagon, one of the largest geospatial companies in the world, Chris wanted to create his own venture to bring location solutions to a broader audience. Not just professionals. Australia focused, for now.
In his farewell message in 2025, Chris wrote that "I look forward to testing the theory that boredom sparks new innovation and creative leaps".
Kaveat is the result.
Together with his team, he wants to bring improved location decision making to everyone.
